Nearby Heritage Sites: Tubac Presidio State Historic Park
Site Summary: Established in 1691, San Jose de Tumacácori is one of the oldest Spanish missions in Arizona. The park also encompasses the ruins of two other missions, Los Santos Ángeles de Guevavi, (also founded in 1691) and San Cayetano de Calabazas, established in 1756. Access to Guevavi and Calabazas is only available by reservation.

Getting There:
Take Interstate 19 south from Tucson 45 miles to exit 29 and follow the signs. The park is 18 miles north of Nogales, AZ, which is on the Mexican border.
