  Archaeology in Tucson

Before the Center for Desert Archaeology began publishing its quarterly membership magazine, Archaeology Southwest, in 1999, the Center (and its predecessor, the Arizona Division of the Institute for American Research) published a quarterly membership newsletter, Archaeology in Tucson.

During its 12 years of publication, Archaeology in Tucson was one of the best sources of news about archaeological and historical research in the Tucson basin and beyond. The Center for Desert Archaeology is proud to present the archival versions of Archaeology in Tucson for download in Adobe PDF format.

The PDF versions of Archaeology in Tucson are presented as a free educational resource.

Original paper versions of Archaeology in Tucson are available in the Bookstore section of this site!
