The Tucson Origins Heritage Park will be constructed on the site of Tucson's birthplace, ancient "Chook-shon" and the San Agustín Mission. The park with be the cultural cornerstone of the Rio Nuevo Project, and will interpret the rich history of this ancient site at the foot of Sentinel Peak ("A Mountain").

Groundbreaking Celebration scheduled for June 2, 2007!
