Tobi Taylor, Content Editor, Archaeology Southwest

Tobi Taylor holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in anthropology from Arizona State University. She has conducted archaeological research in Arizona, Colorado, and Mexico, ethnographic work on the Navajo Nation, and textile analysis in various museums throughout the United States. Her writing on anthropological topics has been published in several national publications, including Archaeology and American Indian Art Magazine. From 1996 to 2001, she served as the editor of Kiva: The Journal of Southwestern Anthropology and History. In 1999, she became the editor of American Indian Art Magazine, and in 2001 she joined the staff of the Center for Desert Archaeology as the content editor for Archaeology Southwest. One of Tobi's goals is to make anthropological publications more accessible and meaningful to a general audience, in order to engender more awareness of, and interest in, the Southwest's unique cultural heritage.
