Linda Marie Golier, M.A., Heritage Programs Coordinator
Linda Marie joined the Center for Desert Archaeology in 2006 after completing her M.A. in Applied Anthropology at Northern Arizona University. Her interests include all aspects of sustainable community development, with a particular interest in sustainable tourism. Her graduate research focused on sustainable tourism development efforts in Hancock and Washington Counties, Maine.
Before coming to Arizona to pursue her master's degree, Linda Marie lived in Lexington, Kentucky (home to the original brand of Wildcats!) for almost nine years. In Kentucky, she worked for the Headley-Whitney Museum as their membership, volunteer, and group tours coordinator and later for the University of Kentucky Medical Alumni Association. One of her most rewarding experiences while in Kentucky was becoming a volunteer host for international students at UK.
Linda Marie is currently working on the Little Colorado River Valley National Heritage Area effort.
